How much should you charge for your service?

Before you even touch a Google listing, you need to know exactly what you're selling and at what price. That's what separates the amateur who hesitates from the expert who inspires confidence.

In France, the market has settled: a freelancer starts around 99 € per month, while an agency positions itself closer to 120 € per month. And that price only covers management and optimization. Upsells come on top, and that's often where your real margin lies.

You can sell with no commitment, which is easier to close, or with a commitment in exchange for a reduced rate that secures your revenue.

Five steps to go from signature to a listing managed entirely from Localnord.

Collect payment and create the client portal

Your first client said yes. Go to the Client portal section and create their space. If Stripe is set up in Localnord, generate a payment link during creation: send it to the client, and their portal activates automatically after payment. Without Stripe, invoice with your usual software and activate the portal yourself.

Create a Google agency account

Optional

Optional at first. Between 0 and 50 listings, it isn't required. Beyond 50 listings, a Google agency account gives you better support and greatly reduces the risk of listing suspensions.

Get access to the Google listing

Simpler than it looks, and above all: you never need your client's Google credentials. Ever. You request access, which they approve in one click. Use a Google account in your name or your agency's, ideally the same one connected to Localnord.

  1. 1Go to business.google.com/locations and check, in the top right, that you're signed in to the right Google account.
  2. 2Click the blue “Add business” button, then “Add a single business”.
  3. 3Enter your client's business name, then select the correct listing from the list Google suggests.
  4. 4Click “Request access” and choose the Manager or Owner level.
  5. 5In the relationship field, enter “Agency”. Provide a contact name (your first name or your agency) and your phone number.
  6. 6Tick the option that lets the owner view your public information and your email, then click “Send”.
  7. 7Your client receives an email from Google: they click the button and accept. The listing becomes accessible from your account.

Warning

Golden rule: never the client's credentials. Always a Manager or Owner access request from your own Google account.

Add a slot in Localnord

With access to the listing, go back into Localnord and add a slot from the Subscription section. The system is designed to fit your reality: a no-commitment client, take a monthly slot; an annual client, take an annual slot, which works out cheaper. You mix and match listing by listing.

Warning

Rare case: if an annual client blocks your payments, remove the listing from the slot and replace it with another listing. You never lose the slot you paid for.

Add the Google listing to Localnord

In the dashboard, click “+ Add a Google listing” in the top right. The window lists every listing associated with your Google account. If the new listing doesn't appear, click “Refresh” in the bottom left. Then “+ Add”, and configure the listing.
